胡昌华 西南大学药学院教授，博士生导师，国务院政府特殊津贴专家，重庆英才名家名师,原药学院院长，现学校科技处处长。教育部药学类教学指导委员会副秘书长、生物制药分委员会秘书长，中国高等教育学会科技管理研究会常务理事，重庆科技成果转化促进会副理事长，中国药学会药学教育专委会委员，全国药学专业认证工作委员会委员，重庆药学会常务理事、药学教育专委会主任，重庆微生物学会常务理事，重庆市药物过程与质量控制工程技术中心主任。政协重庆市第六届委员会常务委员、政协北碚区副主席，致公党中央教育专委会委员、重庆市委常委、北碚区委主委。

主要从事生物药物制备、天然药物生物合成、精神药物药理等教学科研与管理工作。先后承担多项国家和重庆市科研项目研究工作，在国内外核心刊物上发表论文近100篇,参与产业化新药开发获新药临床批件2项，授权国家发明专利4项，获教育部技术发明一等奖、重庆市科技进步奖一等奖各1项。领衔药学专业获国家级一流专业建设点，主持《生物技术药物学》课程获首批国家一流课程建设课程。主编《生物技术药物学》、《药学概论》和《药物制备综合实验教程》等药学类规划教材，获重庆市教学成果奖2项。
